THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

A suspected drug dealer is in jail after a search warrant led to the seizure of a large amount of crack cocaine and cash.

Thomas County Narcotics Agents received a tip that 31-year old Alfred Leaks was selling crack out his home on Bay Drive.

Agents set up surveillance outside the house until Leaks walked outside.

"We waited for Mr. Leaks to come outside cause we were told that he was keeping it in the bathroom so he could run and try to dispose it in the toilet before we could get in," said Narcotics Commander Kevin Lee.

Leaks is charged with cocaine possession with intent to distribute.

Agents also confiscated more than $1,300 in cash from the home.
