LEESBURG, GA (WALB) -

Lee County leaders are searching for a new county administrator.

County commissioners accepted Tony Massey's resignation Thursday only two years after he began working for the county.  Massey accepted a city administrator job in Tennessee.

County leaders already have meetings set up with several potential interim administrators and hope to launch a search for a full time replacement soon.

Commission Chairman Rick Muggridge said, "This is a great place to live and a great place to work, especially here in Lee county. The people who work here deserve the best administrator we can find, and we're going to find the best one we can get."

Massey's last day on the job will be March 15th.
