Dawson, GA - Law enforcement officers located the semi-truck involved in a deadly hit and run in Dawson tonight, but no word on where the driver is.
The truck was found parked at a Southern Ag Carriers location less than an hour after the crash.
Two people were killed and a third injured as they crossed the highway between the Kangaroo Food Mart and Golden Peanut, just north of downtown Dawson.
Deputies closed a portion of Highway 82, also known as Ga. 520, shortly after this evening's hit and run.
