APD makes arrest in TV theft, more arrests to follow

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany police have made an arrest in the theft of 30 televisions from a storage unit outside the Hilton Garden Inn.  Police have arrested 39 year old Julian Parker. They received a tip that someone was selling the televisions out of a home on Lee Street.

Police did not find any televisions when they searched the home but they did find a cell phone with pictures of the television. It is believed this was a way of advertising the pictures. He is charged with theft by receiving stolen property.

Additional arrests are expected. Police want to remind folks that if you purchased on of these televisions you could be prosecuted.
