An upcoming job fair will help south Georgians who are unemployed, underemployed, or students looking to make that next step.
Southwest Georgia Tech will partner with the Georgia Department of Labor to host next Thursdays' event in Thomasville.
More than 60 employers and resources are already signed up to attend.
Organizers say be prepared to be interviewed and maybe even hired on the spot.
"Employers will be talking and actually doing some interviews with applicants. So they want to bring a good clean resume and also be appropriately dressed for an interview," said SWGTC President Dr. Craig Wentworth.
Thursday's Job Fair at Southwest Georgia Tech's main campus begins at 9 a.m. and will run until noon.
Other fair sponsors include the Thomasville and Cairo Career Centers, Thomas and Grady County Employer Committees, Georgia Department of Labor Veterans Services, Thomasville-Thomas County and Cairo-Grady County Chambers of Commerce, Thomasville Times Enterprise, The Cairo Messenger, and radio station WGRA.
