ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Despite being strapped for cash, many people are buying that special gift for their Valentine, and it is keeping area flower shops busy.

Employees have been here working all night getting those bouquets you ordered ready for your Valentine.

They have hundreds of orders to get through. The owner says since most people wait until the last minute to place orders, they are having to work extra fast to get all their advance orders ready early, in anticipation for more throughout the day.

"Last minute, it brings on the stress because people want it then, and we have to work fast, and hard to make it happen," says Andrea Owens White, Flowers by Andrea Owner

The number one flower for the big day is still the classic red rose.
