VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

If you're still looking for a romantic spot to take your date on Valentine's Day, you may want to go to downtown Valdosta.

Many downtown restaurants and shops will offer Valentine's Day Specials. The Bleu Cafe is having a beer tasting along with a beer-paired dinner tomorrow night.

Steel Magnolia's restaurant will have dinner specials, and the rooftop bar will be open. Valdosta Main Street organizers say downtown is the most romantic place to be.

"Downtown is unique in that it's all local restaurants and everything is local. That usually makes for a more intimate and just different type of dining atmosphere. It's always a great and romantic night in downtown," said Ellen Hill, Valdosta Main Street Program Coordinator.

Tickets for the Bleu Café beer tasting are $30, call (229) 244-2248 for more information.
