We have breaking news this morning. A house fire broke out early this morning in Norman Park, Georgia
Fire fighters responded to a call at 126 E Weeks Street around 12:45 am.
The lone resident of the house narrowly escaped the fire. She was transported to Colquitt Regional Medical Center by EMS.
The flames were engulfing the house when first responders arrived at the scene. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and No other injuries have been reported.
The South Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross assisted firefighters and will be assisting the homeowner as well.
