THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Another Thomasville man is in jail for threatening a man with a gun.

Investigators say 25-year old Corey Puckett pulled out a gun Saturday night outside The Plaza Restaurant and Bar.

"We take threats very seriously when people make threats with firearms. Anything can happen, accidents can happen when people are making threats with firearms. Of course when alcohol is involved when threats are being made it makes it easier for those threats to be carried out due to the fact that alcohol is involved," said Lt. Eric Hampton.

No shots were fired.

Puckett is charged with aggravated assault and simple battery.
