THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Nearly seven months after 21-year old South Carolina Army Veteran Hassan Hana Williams was found shot to death behind 402 Metcalf Avenue, his accused killers are indicted.

"It's not fair to take away somebody like this from all of us for nothing. After he did so much over there," said Hassan Williams' Mother Aida.

"He had been shot probably around 9:30 or so, and then the call came in later, but at the same time there was a burning car across town over on Millpond Road," said GBI Special Agent Steve Turner.

Kiera Graham, Kimberly Williams, Chaquel Cook, and Alvin Davis III are charged with carjacking, robbing, and murdering Williams.

They are also charged with torching his car and with cruelty to children.

"There was a child with them when this was going on and that's where the cruelty to children charge comes into play," said Turner.

Investigators say they learned Hassan Williams and one of the suspects Kiera Graham did serve together in the Army.

"He knew her in the past. He was coming here to talk to her, meet with her. And by doing so, when he came to meet with her, that's when the other individuals jumped him and robbed him and of course killed him and burned his car," said Turner.

The victim's mother Aida Williams says she was not aware her son was going to be in Georgia.

"He had left here Sunday. Oh I'm going to visit some friends in Virginia, so I don't know why he was there."

Investigators say Graham's and the other suspects motives for killing Williams are still unknown.

All four suspects remain the Thomas County Jail, but bond was set for Cook at $1 million and for Williams at $500,000.
