What prosecutors called "Weed Week" continued in Dougherty County Superior Court.
42 people have entered pleas in marijuana cases Friday and Monday, as prosecutors try to clear crowded court dockets of drug cases.
Monday Senior Judge Loring Gray took 19 pleas in marijuana cases.
One of the defendants was 26-year old Daniel Seymore who pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute and possession of four guns by a convicted felon.
Seymore was sentenced to serve 7-years in prison.
"So when we can concentrate all of the cases into one time period we can hall the available crime lab people to do the work that they need to do, and helps us with the available resources," said District Attorney Greg Edwards. "So it's been a very effective way for us to resolve a lot of cases."
All of the persons who admitted to drug charges involving a gun were sentenced to serve time in prison.
19 more marijuana cases were continued because the defendants' attorneys are involved in the Brickhouse Production murder case right now.
