UPDATE: Fitzgerald couple dead after murder/suicide

FITZGERALD, GA (WALB) -

Fitzgerald Police investigators confirmed it was a domestic dispute that left one dead and another wounded at Jack Allen Apartments.

Around 1:00 PM they say Jamaal Whipple shot his wife Courtney in the head and torso before turning the gun on himself.

Courtney was taken to Dorminey Medical Center and then to a Macon hospital.
