ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The continuous rain is hitting some parts of Albany pretty hard. The downpour is expected to carry on for a few more days.

A new flood advisory has been issued for Dougherty Co. until 1:45 in the evening.

The weather service is predicting that one to two inches of rain will fall per hour, a total of four to five inches through the afternoon.

Public works has all trucks out handling street flooding issues.
