ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Darton women's swim team stepped out of the water to fundraise for an upcoming competition.

The team will drive to Buffalo, New York in March for the National Junior College Athletic Association's championship.

The team needs new racing suits which range from $200 to $400 per suit.

"We are trying to raise money for racing suits for our national championship meet in about a month, we have actually been fundraising all year,so anything we wanted extra, we fund raised for," says Anna Barnes, Darton Swimmer.

They will be out at the Walgreens on Dawson next Sunday also fundraising more money for the competition.
