Two men are behind bars accused of trafficking cocaine from Texas into South Georgia and North Florida.

32 year-old Jimmy Tucker and 52 year-old Jimmy Davis were arrested Thursday night in Hamilton County. A joint investigation between the Echols County Sheriff's Office, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office led to their arrest.

Investigators stopped the pair, who were driving separate vehicles in Hamilton County on CR-143. Officials recovered almost a kilo of cocaine, valued at 70-thousand dollars and a handgun.

Both men, who are from Lake Park, are currently in the Hamilton County jail. They are charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute and trafficking cocaine. Tucker was also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
