ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Dining at an Albany restaurant on Saturday helped end hunger in the community. Ruby Tuesday's is donating a portion of their sales to a non-profit charity.
For customers who brought in a special flyer, Ruby Tuesdays donated 20 percent of the cost of their meal to Mission Change. The money will go towards helping end childhood hunger in Lee County.
"It's great for any organization to be involved in their community and to help out because we all live in this community so it's great to help others out that live here as well," said Laura Holland guest service manager. Dining at the restaurant on February 19th and 20th will benefit the Lily Pad.
