ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The driver of a Jeep Wrangler was traveling in the left lane of the Liberty Expressway near Antioch Road, going northbound about 5:00PM.

A school bus was in the right lane, and improperly merged in the left lane, causing the Jeep to strike the back of the bus.

Thee was only one student on the bus, plus the driver and an adult monitor.

The bus monitor was taken to the hospital, with no serious injuries.

Driver of the Jeep was uninjured.  Police tell us the bus driver was cited with a moving violation.
