ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Jurors will start hearing testimony Monday morning in the murder trial of six suspected Albany gang members.

Friday Prosecutors and defense attorneys for all six defendants gave their opening statements.

It took a week and a half to select the jury.

The suspected members of the East Side Mafia Family gang are charged with murdering LaShelton Stanford.

He was shot multiple times in the parking lot of Brickhouse Productions in February 2010.

Stanford's parents and other family members were in the courtroom Friday.

Judge Denise Marshal said she expects the trial to last another week and a half.
