ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Most of the rain is over now after nearly 2-inches of rain fell in many parts of South Georgia, Thursday.

The heavy rain led to some street flooding.

We shot video in the 1100 block of 2nd Avenue in Albany around 3:30 Thursday afternoon.

Some drivers turned around and found a different route rather than risk driving through the high water.

We haven't heard reports of any significant damage.
