ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Police say they've worked around 20 crashes on wet roads Thursday.

They are urging motorists to slow down and use caution in the heavy rain.

One of the first crashes happened just after 8AM, when police say 58 year old Michael Bell pulled his 2000 Chrysler Voyager van out of the McDonald's on North Slappey, right into the path of 20 year old Brandon Whitaker's Mercury Sable. Whitaker's car bounced off the van and then struck an Albany Beverage beer delivery truck.

The drivers were treated by EMS at the scene. Bell was cited for Failure to yield.
