THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Investigators in Thomasville need your help to find a suspected counterfeiter.

Surveillance video at shows a woman behind the counter at the I & G food mart in Thomasville.

Investigators say the woman used three counterfeit $100 bills to buy $300 worth of money orders.

Investigators say a few hours later, 34-year-old James Thompson used identical counterfeit bills in the same store. He's now in jail, but his female accomplice remains at large.

"We're seeing a lot of counterfeits. It goes it spurts. We'll have a few here and few there. We're seen quite a few as of late. All types of counterfeit bills, hundreds, 20's, 10's. So we're seeing a lot of them," said Lt. Eric Hampton.

Investigators say Thompson has not told them how he is connected to the woman in the video.
