The Panama City Police Department and the Panama City Beach Police Department are investigating a shoplifting ring that has been targeting various retail stores both at the Panama City Mall and Pier Park.
On February 5, 2013. Panama City Police Department was contacted after officers with Panama City Beach Police Department arrested the female suspects.
Panama City Police detectives were able to identify that property had been stolen from at least six stores in the Panama City Mall.
The women are all from Albany, and it is believed they planned to return to Georgia to sell the stolen merchandise.
