Dogs thrown to pit bulls and killed

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Ronald and Angela Ponder reported to Albany Police that two boys have thrown dogs over their chain link fence, where the couple's two pit bull dogs have viciously killed them.

They say that two teen aged boys have thrown at least two dogs into the back yard on Dorsett Avenue where the dogs live, and both have been attacked and killed by the pit bull dogs.

The latest happened Tuesday afternoon about 5:00. It was a small brown dog. The same thing happened the day before when a black schnauzer was thrown to the pit bulls, and killed.

Ronald Ponder says that his two year old female pit bull has puppies.  They say they want police action to catch and punish the perpetrators, and that they want this activity to stop.

Jim Wallace will have more on this story later today.
