VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

A Moody Air Force Base airman surprised his little girl in school today after a long deployment.

It was all hugs and kisses as Master Sergeant Tim Kaluza surprised his 4-year-old daughter Carrina in her Pre-K class this morning at St. Johns Catholic School in Valdosta. The father of three deployed to Afghanistan 8 months ago and says he's thankful to be back with his family.

"It was kind of overwhelming in a way, but to see the look on her face and everything, makes everything worthwhile," said Kaluza.

The family says they'll spend some quiet family time together over the next few days followed by a vacation to Stone Mountain.
