THOMAS COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

A Duncan Trucking semi-truck overturned on Highway 19  near Four Corners Gin Company at Midway Church Road between Meigs and Thomasville around 8:20 Monday morning.

Reports are that the truck was hauling sand, and that officials are cleaning the crash sight.

The Department of Public Safety inspected the truck about 10:00AM. The driver is not injured and is currently not charged. Driver works for.

The DOT is clearing sand from south bound lane of U.S. 19.  Both south bound lanes were closed for about an hour, but are now reopen.
