MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

A funeral was held Sunday for a Moultrie woman, who died after being burned in a house fire last month.

41 year-old Mary Bryant was inside this home on 11th Street Southwest when the early morning fire broke out on January 3rd.

Firefighters pulled her to safety, but she sustained third degree burns.

Bryant was flown to Doctors Hospital in Augusta, where she died on Friday, February 1st.

Cobb Funeral Chapel is handling the funeral arrangements.  Her funeral was held at Westview Cemetery Sunday afternoon.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but state fire investigators believe the fire may have been sparked by a cigarette.
