ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Temperatures are expected to drop into the 20's throughout South Georgia.

That's dangerous for people without a warm place to sleep.

Albany Salvation Army officials don't want anyone to spend the night outside when it gets this cold.

They have around 40 beds at their shelter, but on nights like this, they're prepared to handle an overflow.

They'll also provide other services if visitors need help after Friday night.

"We also have a resource center that's right across from us, so if someone is in greater need of resources than the sheltering itself then we start directing them that way," said Salvation Army Captain Kelly English.

The shelter will serve breakfast in the morning for those who stay overnight.
