ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Just after 6 o'clock Friday morning Albany police responded to Kmart off Dawson Road where a man was found dead in the sleeper cab of a Swift semi truck.

The 56-year-old truck driver whose name is not known at this time, along with his trainee, were traveling from Ocala, Florida to drop off a delivery at the Kmart in Albany.

The truck was parked behind the store where the two slept overnight. When the trainee woke up after her alarm clock went off, she found the driver dead in his sleeper cab.

Officials say there's no suspected foul play and the cause of the drivers death is unknown at this time. We'll have more information as it becomes available.
