Select Aurora, Colorado, Havana Business Improvement District shops are setting the tone for Valentine’s Day with free chocolate and “mystery bags” on Feb. 9.
Aurora, Colorado (PRWEB) February 01, 2013
Believing that “free chocolate” on Valentine’s Day is second only to “free beer” and, “free love,” and only arguably so, the Havana Business Improvement District (a.k.a. On Havana Street) is sponsoring a tasting event Saturday, February 9, 2013, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
"Free chocolate-flavored teas, chocolate cookies and other treats are part of a larger 'Mystery Bag Affair' event at select Havana Street merchants," said Havana BID Executive Director Gayle Jetchick. "For $1.00 to $10.00, Aurora shoppers can purchase Valentine's Day "mystery bags" at select locations." Those locations include:
The Havana Business Improvement District (d.b.a. On Havana Street) has contributed a "2013 Game Colorado Lottery Scratch Ticket"--the latest game from the Colorado Lottery with a chance to win up to $5,000--to each bag, so some surprises may be larger than others! Supplies are limited. What’s more romantic than a little mystery?
Each participating business will host a drawing for a free box of Valentine's Day chocolates. Aurora shoppers can enter once at each location. No purchase is necessary to enter and win.
The District and the Aurora business community hope this event furthers the momentum generated by the 3rd Annual Grocery Cart Races on January 30, 2013, which raised $12,000 of groceries for Aurora’s Comitis Crisis Center.
