VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Two Valdosta teenagers are charged after an argument on a school bus led to a stabbing.

On the bus yesterday afternoon, the two students agreed to fight later. The 15-year-old went to the 14-year-old's house on the 1600 block of Fresno Street.

Investigators say during the fight, the 14-year-old pulled out a knife and stabbed the 15-year-old five times.

He was treated and released from South Georgia Medical Center last night.

The 15-year-old is charged with battery. The 14-year-old is charged with aggravated assault.

"We have absolutely no evidence to indicate that this was gang related. These were two students, two juveniles, that were arguing over something silly and let it get out of hand," said Cmdr. Brian Childress, Valdosta Police.

Both teenagers will appear in juvenile court and may face time in the youth detention center if found guilty.
