Thomasville Police are looking for two men who attempted to rob a store, scaring customers and clerks.
The economic impact of tourism in Georgia is growing rapidly.
The state just unveiled its new Georgia Travel Guide which you can find at the Albany Welcome Center.
The cover features Senoia, a scenic metro Atlanta town that's a featured filming site for the popular television show "The Walking Dead."
Tourism is also expanding in our area.
"Alone from the numbers in 2011, the industry in Albany has grown by 20 jobs so we have a very productive and active hospitality industry in town as well," said Jenny Collins with the Albany Visitors and Convention Bureau.
In 2011, tourism had a $49-billion impact in Georgia, up 8.9%.
Georgia ranks 7th in the country in travel-related employment and travel expenditures and trails only Florida in the southeast.
