WALB has learned that a 16-year-old boy has been charged with making a bomb threat.
Police say that the boy made the 911 call on January 8th that caused Worth Co. High School to be evacuated.
He has been transported to the Regional Youth Development Center in Eastman.
Threats written on bathroom walls, even at the elementary school, have disrupted Worth Co. schools on several occasions in the last week.
Police say they don't believe this boy is responsible for those crimes, and they are still conducting an active investigation to find out who did it.
The boy will be charged with felony making terroristic threats, and disrupting a school, as will whoever made the other threats.
Sylvester Police will release a statement later today, which WALB will post here.
