VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Valdosta Police are looking for a thief who broke into a propane company.

The burglar got away with a lot of property and cash. And right now police have no leads.

The owner of South Georgia Propane on East Park Avenue told police he realized he had been burglarized when he opened his store yesterday.

Police say someone took a propane tank and threw it into the front glass of the business.

The thief stole two desktop computers, a printer, a couple space heaters, and some cash.

So far, investigators haven't found any witnesses.

"It's kind of a secluded area, there's not a lot a lot around there; railroad tracks on one side of the road and then the business on the other side and it's pretty much wooded in the back of it, so it's a pretty secluded area," said Lt. Aaron Kirk, Valdosta Police Department.

The business did not have any surveillance cameras, and no alarm sounded.

If you have any information on this burglary Valdosta Police ask you to call 229-293-3145.
