MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

A Colquitt County man, who police say robbed a friend outside a McDonald's in broad daylight, is in jail.

Moultrie Police officers Monday arrested Kenjy Irving and charged with armed robbery. The victim, Willie Peterson, told investigators he was in the parking lot of McDonalds around 11:30 last Tuesday morning when Irving pulled a gun and demanded money.

Peterson thought it was a joke because he knew Irving. He told police Irving never pointed the gun at him but held it in his hand. He got away with cash.

Irving is being held in the Colquitt County Jail.
