ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
A kidnapping took place at the corner of Mercer Avenue and Davis Street last night. The victim told police that he was approached by unknown black man wearing blue jeans, a white shirt, and a black jacket while at the stop sign.
The man pointed a handgun at him through his car window and demanded that he unlock the door.
According to the victim, the suspect walked around the vehicle, got in the vehicle, and made him drive to West Lincoln Avenue alley.
The man then demanded the victim's wallet. The victim told authorities that he then jumped out of the vehicle and ran away.
The suspect drove away with the vehicle. The suspect is still on the loose and is charged with kidnapping, armed robbery, and aggravated assault.
