ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany teenager is now in custody as police continue their investigation into an attempted robbery.

Late Wednesday night, investigators charged a 16 year-old with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. He is now being held at the Albany Regional Youth Detention Center. Albany Police are still looking for two other people who were with him.

Police say they tried to rob Talk A Lot Unlimited, a cell phone store on South Madison Street a little before 6:30 Wednesday night, though police say they didn't get any money.

One of the men had a gun. Officers searched the area around Harmon and Heard Avenues and caught one suspect.

If you think you know anything about the two accomplices, call 911 or crime stoppers at 436-tips.
