ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A group of Terrell and Dougherty County students returned from their trip to DC for the presidential inauguration, Tuesday.

They say witnessing the historic swearing-in of President Obama was a once in a lifetime experience that taught them some important life lessons.

"I learned that everyone in the world should believe in brotherhood, like president Obama. He believes in brotherhood," said Breneshia Glanton.

"Instead of watching TV, going to the inauguration live was kind of exciting," said Ivy Cobb.

Around 50 students and parents made the bus trip to nation's capital Saturday.
