ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
The Albany Police Gang Unit is trying to determine if a shooting at a South Albany home was gang related.
Investigators are looking for 24-year-old Antwan Ronell Lamons.
They think he fired shots at a home in the 900 block of Cherry Avenue yesterday morning around 9:30.
Children were in the home, but no one was hurt.
Police are asking for the public's help to find Lamons.
"Our largest intelligency is the public, the people themselves. They're the ones that help us out. They're the ones who gives us a call and let's us know this is what happened and this is who did it and this is why they did it. That's our intelligence. That's how the public can help us. That's how the public can help us help them," said Sgt. E. Duron Thompson.
Police are trying to determine if the shooting had anything to do with a gang initiation.
If you have any information that could help police find Lamons, call crimestoppers at 436-TIPS.
