Investigators from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement have continued to investigate the death of Pamela Provenzano who was found on Monday, January 21 deceased lying in the a roadway on South West 44 Street, in rural Hamilton County.

As part of the investigation, an autopsy is being performed by the Medical Examiner's office in Jacksonville, Florida in order to determine the exact cause of her death.

During the initial investigation it was learned that Pamela Provenzano had possibly come to visit her father, Daniel Ovaert who lived in Lowndes County which led to the cooperative efforts between the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
