Investigation finds nobody firing shots - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

Multiple law enforcement agencies searched the area around G. O. Bailey Primary School in Tifton, after someone called in a report of a person shooing into the air nearby.

The school was locked down as a precaution.

Neither the Tift County Sheriff's Office nor the Tifton Police Department found any one shooting, and the sheriff's office says no bullet casings were found.

They don't know if the original report was simply a mistake.
