ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Several Southwest Georgians were honored Monday with the Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior Dream Award.

Four outstanding community servants were honored for the work they do to uphold Dr. King's ideals in South Georgia.

We caught up with a couple of winners who say the award is an honor.

"It's very exciting for me to get this award, it shows that enough motivation and dedication can get you really far in life," said Ashlee Harden.

"I think fulfilling people's dream is a very special thing. Giving back to the community that gave to you was something that was instilled in me from my parents from the time I was raised," said Sa'Haara Bryant.

This year's awards honored two adults and two young people.
