VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

It's been one year since a popular Valdosta Radio DJ was shot to death outside his radio station, and his killer still hasn't been caught.

The murder of Stephen Edgerton, known as Juan Gotti on radio station V96 is a mystery.

He was shot to death by a man wearing a mask as he was leaving work.

The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office says they're still actively investigating and following up on any and all leads.

Friends and family members remain hopeful that the killer will be arrested.

"It's very tragic, because that lets us know that there's a killer still lurking in Valdosta and we haven't found out who it is," said Kelsie Davis, friend of the victim.

The Sheriff's Office says there's still a sizeable reward for information on this unsolved murder.
