ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Tons of Atlanta Falcon's fans packed into places like Buffalo Wild Wings, Loco's, and Austin's Firegrill Sunday afternoon to root on their team.

"It's good for our business, it does, you know it gives us a little economic push and people want to come out and watch football eat some good wings and maybe have some adult beverages and root the falcons on," says Austin's Firegrill owner Austin Newman.

One of those fans is Steven Ramey. He says he's been a faithful dirty bird ever since he can remember.

"You know you've got to cheer for your home team. Cheer for where you came from because us falcon's fans have been deprived for a long time," says Ramey.

The Falcon's fought for a chance to play in this years Super Bowl. And although they came up five points short, fans say the birds are still number one in their hearts.

"I'm still their number one fan you know it hurts a little bit right now but you know at the same time the next day I'll be up and rolling ready for next years," says Ramey.

"I hate it they lost but it was so close, they tried and I'll always stick with them until the end," says fan Kevin Fazendin.

And fans say although the Falcon's won't be playing for a Super Bowl title, they'll still show up for the big game on February 3rd.

"Everybody still comes out and has a good time for the super bowl you know it's just a good time it's a fun game. The halftime commercials are great it's always a fun game," says Loco's Manager Matt White.

"I think this definitely build some more support for them and it will continue on to the next years," says Fazendin.

As for the Falcon's, fans say there's always next year.
