Deadly fire in Coffee County - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

Officials are continuing to investigate a Friday night fire that left one person dead.

Authorities say 49 year-old Edith Sheffield died in the house fire on Bowens Mill Road. The Georgia State Fire Marshal's office is investigating the cause of the blaze.

The home is a complete loss. It's unknown if anyone else was inside the home at the time of the fire.
