ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Four Westover High School students are charged in connection with a fight in the student parking lot during which police say a gun was drawn.

More arrests are expected.

18-year old Jerry Cauley is charged with two counts of possession of a handgun on school campus and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

17-year old Thomas Cainion is charged with intent to distribute marijuana on a school campus.

18-year old Joseph Behrend and a 16-year old are charged with possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

Investigators say they were involved in a fight at Westover about 10 minutes after dismissal and that Cauley showed a gun.

He was later arrested with two handguns.

"We're still not all the way clear on what the reason was for the fight," said Dougherty County School Police Assistant Chief J.C. Phillips.  "We are getting conflicting stories. But needless to say there is no good reason for a fight, especially one that involved guns."

Meanwhile 11 people have been arrested in connection with a gang fight behind Albany High School Monday morning, that led to the school being locked down.

18 year olds Kenneth Kitchen and Quindathion Baldwin, and 17 year olds Shaquille Clark and Jeremy Fleming are the adults charged with affray and disrupting a public school. 7 juveniles were also arrested in what turned out to be a brawl between Black Gangsta Disciples and Rattler gang members.
