Mortgage Bankers say it's a great time to refinance your home.
Interest rates are at near record lows.
One Albany mortgage lender says now may be your best chance to get a low interest rate and take years off your payment schedule.
"If you're paying more than 4% on a 30 year fixed or if you're paying more than 3 and a half on a 15 year, either of those scenarios would be worth your while to call," said mortgage banker Stacey Walker.
According to the Mortgage Bankers Association, refinancings were up 71% in November compared to November 2011.
