ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Falcons fever is in the air as Atlanta will play for a shot at the Super Bowl on Sunday. The excitement has caused run on apparel.  We checked on Thursday with several sporting good stores in Albany and nearly all of them were sold out of Falcons gear.

Hibbetts Sports on Ledo Road is sold out of everything Falcons but they hope with a win over San Francisco, that won't be the story next week. "We're hoping, the Falcons are the home team so hopefully we should get a lot of product in because if they go to the Super Bowl there will be a lot of demand," Said Rashad Hawkins a Hibbetts Sports employee.

Stores in Atlanta are also seeing a major run on Falcons merchandise. The Falcons will take on 49ers Sunday at 3 o'clock for a shot at the big game.
