WALB's Most Wanted: Bear

Albany Police need your help finding a suspected gunman with a unique nickname.

This is 19-year-old Alexander Laster. He goes by the nickname "Bear," probably because of big size, but he's always wanted for a big crime.

Police say Laster is the triggerman in a November shooting that left a 16-year-old boy hospitalized.

16 year-old Vashon Banks banks told police he and 17-year-old Damon Goodman were walking on the 400 block of South Shadowlawn Drive the night of November 16th, when the three suspects drove up to them and asked if they knew someone.

When the boys said no, the suspects drove around the block and returned shooting. Banks was struck. Shots were fired at Goodman but missed. Laster, AKA Bear, is 5'  7" and weighs 240 pounds.

He has a criminal past and police want him off the streets.  Bear becomes one of WALB's most Wanted
