About 100 soldiers are scheduled to return to Fort Benning in Georgia after a nine-month deployment to Afghanistan. The unit is made up of soldiers assigned at Fort Benning and medical personnel from throughout the Army.

A Decatur County Correctional Institute officer Lt. Robert Wright is in the Decatur Jail awaiting arraignment.

53-year old Wright was arrested at Cheney Griffin Park around 12:20 Wednesday afternoon after a sting was set up to catch Wright selling prescription painkillers to an informant.

Investigators say Wright was wearing his prison guard uniform at the time of his arrest.

Investigators believe Wright was receiving the prescription pills from someone outside the state then selling them around Decatur County.

They don't think Wright was providing any pills to the inmates.

Wright is charged with sale of hydrocodone and violation of oath of office.

It is the Georgia Department of Corrections policy to terminate any of its employees who are convicted of a drug related offense.
