ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Three Albany bars fighting for their liquor licenses will have to wait a little longer to present their case.

Hearings for Sandtrap Lounge and Club and Big Daddy's Lounge and Club were postponed Wednesday morning because not all of the city commissioners were there.

Those hearings, along with the one for Legend Lounge and Club will be held January 29th.

Last month Albany police and the city attorney's office recommended that city commissioners not renew alcohol licenses for five bars because police say they respond to so many calls at the businesses.

Hearings for Charley B's and Club Xscape were held on Monday. Commissioners will likely vote on whether to renew their liquor licenses at their January 22nd meeting.
